Registration Requirements We Check
Healthcare is a regulated sector, so we verify each candidate’s professional standing before shortlisting:
- Nurses and midwives must be registered or enrolled with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and hold a valid Practising Certificate to practise in Singapore, under the Nurses and Midwives Act 1999.
- Foreign-trained nurses need an offer of employment from an eligible healthcare institution with inpatient services before SNB will consider their registration application, which the employer’s HR submits on their behalf.
- Regulated allied health professionals, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists and diagnostic radiographers, are registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), which issues their practising certificates.
Requirements are set by the relevant professional boards and may change. We check current requirements with SNB and AHPC, and recommend employers verify registration before the start date.
